Statement
I am naturally drawn towards the mysterious and surreal, and I attempt to capture scenes in real life that
convey more of a sense of fantasy than reality. Largely inspired by the books I have read
throughout my life, from children’s fairytales to the literary classics to modern fiction, my photographs intend
to
unlock the imagination and allow the mind to explore and revel within landscapes that are real,
yet simultaneously fantastic.
A fourth-generation Colorado native, I have spent much of my life exploring and capturing beauty in the western
United States. With each adventure, seeing nature in new ways and new light inspires me and continually brings
me renewed respect for the wild earth, and
fuels continued photographic exploration.
